Brotherhood – Purpose is to encourage men to become the men God has called them to be, and spread brotherly love.
Caleb’s Crusaders – Purpose is to mold our boys and teenagers into men who will exemplify godly character, respect authority, and hold themselves and others accountable.
Senior Mission & Women in Action – Purpose is to share God’s word, visit the sick and the elderly; while all along helping with small tasks around the church.
Starlight Mission – Our Mission to teach the Word of God to the children so that they will have a strong foundation and their relationship with God will grow. And as God’s word takes root in their lives, it will be manifested, both in their homes and schools
Sharepot – We exists to help the needy by providing non-perishable food items and vouchers for meats.
Sunday School – Our mission is to serve the church by equipping its members with a growing understanding of God’s word. In so doing, our goal is to have a godly influence on our church, families, and the community in which we live.
New Member Committee and Faith Partners – Our mission is to extend a spiritual welcome to New Members of FMBC and facilitate their Christian growth through discipleship, and education; while fostering and strengthening their connections with other members of the body of Christ in the Friendship family.
Support Group – Our mission is to undergird (spiritually and socially) those who are battling addictions in their lives, until they come to the fulfillment of what God wants and expects of them.
Prayer and Teacher’s Meeting – We believe prayer changes things, so our mission is to undergird our church body and society with prayer. We also use this time as an opportunity to review the upcoming Sunday School lesson with our teachers.
Weekly Bible Study – Our pastor uses this time to disciple the disciples in God’s word.
Deacon’s Ministry – The deacons serve in support of the Pastor in shaping the vision of the church in worship, as spiritual leaders, and giving guidance to all ministries of the church. Deacons are also called by God, to serve and care for His people, ensuring that their physical needs are not neglected (Acts 6:1-2). This includes staying in contact with them during difficult times.
As such, the Deacon’s Ministry will use the list outlined below to ensure oversight of the FMBC families. Likewise, members should use this list to Contact their fellow Deacon in times of need. Please refer to the Church Directory for contact phone numbers.
