FMBC Seasons Ministry Observes National Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths among American women. During the month of October, which is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the FMBC Seasons Ministry joins in the effort to spread the message that early detection of breast cancer followed by prompt treatment saves lives.
National Breast Cancer Awareness Month educates women about the importance of early detection. More and more women are getting mammograms to detect breast cancer in its earliest stages. As a result, breast cancer deaths are on the decline. Encourage the women in your life to get mammograms on a regular basis.
