Any accomplishments by this Pastor and members during these forty-six years are all because of the grace of God. Thank God for the journey. Sometimes it’s “my days are like a shadow that declineth; and I am withered like grass. But thou, O Lord, shall endure forever; and thy remembrance unto all generations.” (Psalm 102:11, 12) But it is always “I will praise thee with my whole heart; before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.” (Psalm 138:1)
“Then went King David in, and sat before the Lord, and he said, who am I, O Lord God? And what is my house, that thou hast brought me hither to?” (2 Samuel 7:18)
How apropos are the words of King David in his prayer expressing acceptance of God’s promise to him. David realized that God’s blessings were given to him in order that Israel might benefit from them. They would help fulfill God’s greater purpose and promises for the ethnos (nations). For forty-six years our Heavenly Father has been faithful. He has truly blessed this Pastor and this Church. We have come this far by faith knowing that “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and He delighteth in his way.” (Psalm 37:23)
Dear members, as we celebrate this Pastor’s anniversary, let me thank you for all that you do to bless the Pastor and his family and all that you do for the Kingdom.
Let us continue T O G E T H E R.
