Musings with the Pastor.
The Friendship family joins with the John Williams’ family in mourning the loss of our dear brother, John Williams. Husband, Father, Brother, Uncle, Christian Brother and Servant of the Most High God. What a dear brother John was and how this Pastor will always remember him fondly for his service to the Kingdom.
Brother John was the personification of working without publicity. John was an animated choir member. Whether marching into the sanctuary or singing in the choir stand, John made his presence known. He understood the concept of Psalm 100:1-2: “Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: Come before His presence with singing.”
To Sister Jamelia Williams and the children, and to the entire Williams family, we extend our condolences and our prayers.
MOTHER’S DAY
Whether she is called: Mother, Mama, Mom, Ma, Mommy or Dear, on today we celebrate our mothers and the Divine Institution of Motherhood. Ordained and blessed by God: (Galatians 4:4) “But when the fullness of time was come, God sent forth His Son, make of a woman, made under the law.” How we praise God for Godly mothers.
To all the Mothers, thank you for who you are and for all that you do.
Have a blessed “M O T H E R’ S D A Y.”
