Musings with the Pastor. We are pleased to announce that effective immediately, the FMBC vegetable garden will be known as ‘The Elaine Robinson Community Garden’. Very soon we will have the appropriate signage to identify the garden. It is our desire to honor the memory of this dear lady in a very meaningful way. We are looking for people who enjoy working with their hands to be part of the garden effort. If watching things grow gives you a degree of satisfaction, give your name to Deacon Leon Moore or to the Pastor.
Let the Pastor join the chorus of those persons inviting you to attend the Willie Arthur Ward Annual Banquet. The banquet affords us the opportunity for fun, fellowship and good food. This Pastor heartily recommend the opportunity to participate in a social function where we can demonstrate our Christian and social graces. The banquet committee has worked very hard to put together a grand event for us, reward them with your presence.
See you at the banquet.
Let’s get the van out of it’s cage. We are certainly under-utilizing this valuable resource. Let’s get the word out, if you need a ride to church services and/or Sunday School, please contact Sister Janet Spurlock or Deacon Leon Moore. Here is the opportunity to provide transportation for someone with a need.
