Sister Elaine Robinson. Devoted mother, grandmother, loving family member, and in a summary statement, child of the most high God.
The Friendship Missionary Baptist Church family mourns the passing of this dear lady and we praise God, who is the giver of life, for her life and her legacy.
Sister Elaine was the embodiment of a Christian woman. Oh, how she loved the Lord, and she had the God kind of love. Hear what the Word tells us about love in action: “But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother hath need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth” (1st John 3:17, 18).
Sister Elaine was a giver! She sought out opportunities to be a blessing. This dear lady had a heart for God and the heart of God and a heart for God’s people. The entire FMBC family in one way or the other, has been the recipient of some loving act of devotion from Sister Elaine Robinson. This Pastor feels very keenly the homegoing of Sister Elaine. She was special!
Sister Elaine was the personification of the Proverbs Thirty-one Woman. “Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. Favor is deceitful, and beauty is vain: But a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates” (Proverbs 31:29-31).
Dear people, this world, and certainly FMBC, has been made better because Sister Elaine Robinson passed this way. To God be the glory for the life and legacy of this dear lady with the gentle spirit and the firm convictions. How blessed we are that she touched our lives
