“Did Christ O’er sinners weep, shall our cheeks be dry? Let floods of penitential grief burst forth from every eye.
The Son of God in tears. The wandering angels see; Be thou astonished, O my soul; He shed those tears for thee. He wept that we might weep; Each sin demands a tear. In heaven alone no sin is found, and there’s no weeping there, Amen.”
With the wonderful words of Benjamin Beddome’s Revival Hymn “Did Christ O’er Sinners Weep?” Serving as a prelude, may I remind you, as if we need reminding, tomorrow night is day one of our Revival and Soul-Saving Campaign – 2014.
This Pastor can scarcely contain the excitement that comes from knowing that God is going to do a mighty work in this meeting. Please continue to undergird the revival effort with your prayers, your financial commitment, and during the revival, with your presence. Will you make every effort to bring someone with you? “The godly are like trees that bear life-giving fruit, and those who save lives are wise”
(Proverbs 11:30 N.L.T.).
How wonderful it is that you can do something here in the earth realm, and it will have eternal repercussions. However, to do nothing about Jesus will also have eternal repercussions.
Let the Revival and Soul-Saving Campaign begin!
