Praise God for the many wonderful members of the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church who are contributing significantly to Black History or better still, “Kingdom History”. In the years to come when historians reflect upon the Friendship of the second decade of two thousand, what a testimony of the awesomeness of God exhibited through the lives of His people. Consider the many young lives that are impacted in so many positive ways as a result of the Godly teachings of Sister (Doctor) Suntera Scott. And then there is the poise and art of presentation that is instilled in our young people by Sister Janiqua and Brother Ryan Brisco, and the musician staff. The fantastic, the fabulous, the talented, the terrific, the Friendship Flame Dancers are indeed a joy to behold. What a great job Sister Rebecca does with these young people. She is absolutely a choreographer extra-ordinaire. “But Jesus said, suffer little children, and forbid them not; to come unto Me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 19:14).
The young people of today are the world leaders of tomorrow, shaping and defining the years to come. Moreover, they demonstrate entrance into the kingdom of heaven. What a contribution! We must also consider the great work done by M and M (you know who you are), and scores of other dedicated workers committed to the expansion of His Kingdom. Praise God for those who have heard the wise man, Solomon, in their inner being: “Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest” (Eccl. 9:10).
