It is good to know during this time of a severe downturn in the world’s economy, that as Christians, we possess dual citizenship. In addition to being citizens of the United States of America, we are foremost, citizens of the Kingdom of the most high God. While we are affected by the economic principles of this world, Christians are governed by Kingdom principles. At a time when the world is obsessing on the declining value of it’s monetary instruments: the currency, the stocks and bonds, the certificates of deposit; none are really sound. Where-as the fiscal instruments of the Kingdom are based on better promises. The tithe, alms, and offerings, God’s way to financial security in the earth realm. Hear the Holy Writ: (Malachi 3:10) “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in mine house, and test Me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open for you the windows of heaven, and pour out for you a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.” Action required, tithe. Acts 10:1-4 tells us of a Gentile named Cornelius, who feared God with all his house, and gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God always. The angel of God said to him: “Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.” Action required, give alms. (Malachi 3:8) “Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed Me. But ye say, How have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.” Our offerings are beyond the tithe and God’s Mal. 3:10 blessing is upon them. Action required: bring the offering into God’s house.
Be blessed as you walk in Him and receive His promises.
