It is easier to build strong children than it is to repair broken men. This vision statement adopted for the Youth Church is a recognizable reality, however, it is also a biblical principle.
This Pastor is grateful to the Lord and justifiably proud of the great kids we have here at Friendship. We celebrate them and their many accomplishments as they continue to grow in the grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I have twelve things to say to them:
(1) Good going!!
(2) Great!!
(3) Fantastic!!
(4) Excellent!!
(5) Wonderful!!
(6) Wow!!
(7) Good work!!
(8) Superb!!
(9) Congratulations!!
(10) I’m very proud of all of you!!
(11) Keep it up!!
(12) I knew you could do it!!

How right Paul was when he coined the phrase “so great a salvation” in Hebrew 2:3. From our bible study for the last 3 days all I can say is “Wow, so great, so great this salvation.”
Seed – the essential element of transmitting life. There is a threefold usage of this word in Scripture.
(1) Agricultural. The farmer held his seed in his upturned garment, casting it out as he walked.
(2) Physiological. “Seed of copulation” (Lev. 15:16). The New Testament speaks of Christians as having been begotten by God—“of incorruptible seed” (1st Peter 1:23, 1st John 3:9).
(3) Figurative. Here seed means descendents (Gen. 13:16) or genealogy (Ezra 2:59).
Dear Ones, please know that every seed reproduces after itself. If you want tomatoes, you plant tomatoes, peppers, you plant peppers. If you want love, you must plant love. If you want mercy, sew mercy. If you want grace, sew grace. If you want joy, you must sew joy. If you want peace, sew peace; meekness, sew meekness. “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap” (Gal. 6:7).
As members of the Body of Christ, we have been born of God and His seed remains in us and therefore we are new creations. Can I tell you “We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.” As believers in the faith, we share with father Abraham the promise that is “sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of faith.” (Romans 4:16).
